Fincra, a B2B startup providing payment infrastructure for cross-border transactions, has appointed Emmanuel Babalola as its new Chief Commercial and Growth Officer. This strategic move comes as Fincra undergoes a significant transformation in its business.
Babalola brings a wealth of experience, having served as CEO of Bundle, a social payments app, and Director for Africa at Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange.
His expertise in scaling platforms, driving innovation, and advocating for financial inclusion aligns with Fincra’s mission.
“Fincra is thrilled to welcome Emmanuel Babalola, whose exceptional track record and passion for financial inclusion make him an ideal fit for our team,” said Wole Ayodele, Fincra’s CEO. “His leadership will be instrumental in driving our mission to build seamless payment rails for Africa.”
Since its founding in 2021, Fincra has processed over $10 billion in transactions, serving clients like Lemfi, OneLiquidity, and Cleva.
The company’s APIs enable fintechs to build and scale cross-border payment solutions, with operations in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, the UK, Europe, and North America.
“I am excited to join Fincra, a pioneer in building payment infrastructure for Africa,” Babalola said. “My mission has always been to enable freedom and prosperity for Africa through technology, and I look forward to amplifying this vision at Fincra.”
