Founded as a children’s reading and activity club, Bookers Root has swiftly become a nurturing space for young minds aged 4 to 9, dedicated to instilling a profound love for reading.

In the past year alone, under Itoro’s passionate guidance, Bookers Root has delved into 28 captivating books, hosted 18 engaging meetings, orchestrated a delightful picnic, and organized enriching excursions that have not only captivated children but also brought families closer together.

Through these activities, Itoro has not just encouraged reading but has fostered a sense of community and joy among participants.

Itoro’s journey to founding Bookers Root is underpinned by a rich tapestry of experiences. With over seven years of banking expertise and a background as a devoted stay-at-home mom, she seamlessly integrates her organizational prowess, interpersonal skills, and deep passion for mentoring into the club’s activities. 

Her commitment extends beyond the club’s walls; she generously volunteers as a mentor to children in government schools, embodying her belief in the transformative power of education.

Itoro is educationally equipped with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Biotechnology, complemented by a Master of Science in Information Technology, and this brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and creative nurturing to her role.

Her dedication is further evidenced in her personal life, where she balances the roles of a supportive wife and a proud mother of two wonderful children.
