Termii Elevate 5.0 Brings Africa’s Technology Ecosystem Together to Power the Next Billion Conversations

Termii successfully hosted the fifth edition of Elevate, its flagship technology conference, bringing together founders, developers, investors, regulators and technology leaders to explore the future of communication infrastructure and digital connectivity across Africa.

Held at The Zone Tech Park, Gbagada, Lagos, the one-day conference was themed “The Global Link: Powering the Next Billion Conversations,” highlighting the role of trusted digital infrastructure in enabling seamless communication, digital identity, financial services and cross-border commerce across the continent.

The event served as a platform for meaningful conversations around the technologies, partnerships and policies shaping Africa’s digital future, while creating opportunities for collaboration among innovators building solutions for businesses and consumers.

Throughout the conference, participants engaged in keynote presentations, panel discussions, fireside conversations, networking sessions, product showcases and the highly anticipated Elevate Pitch 5.0 startup competition.

Discussions explored topics including communication infrastructure, API reliability, artificial intelligence, fintech innovation, digital identity, regulatory compliance and the systems required to support Africa’s rapidly expanding digital economy.

The event featured leading voices from Africa’s technology ecosystem, including representatives from Termii, Ventures Platform, PiggyVest, Selar, VerifyMe Nigeria, QoreID, TechCabal, Qore, Zeeh Africa, and Fez Delivery Co. The programme also included a moderated discussion, a startup pitch competition and networking sessions designed to foster collaboration across the continent’s technology landscape.

One of the highlights of the conference was The Launchpad, where Termii shared its vision for its 2026/2027 ecosystem roadmap and introduced new connectivity initiatives aimed at helping businesses build more reliable and scalable customer communication experiences.

Attendees also explored the Connectivity Corridor, where partner organisations showcased solutions supporting Africa’s digital infrastructure. Developers participated in live API demonstrations through the Termii Sandbox, while the Activation Hub gave participants the opportunity to experience Sotel’s connectivity solutions, including eSIM technology and data services.

The conference also reinforced Termii’s commitment to supporting innovation through Elevate Pitch 5.0, providing early-stage founders with a platform to present infrastructure-led solutions before investors and ecosystem stakeholders while gaining valuable industry exposure.

Speaking after the event, the organisers described Elevate as more than a technology conference, noting that it continues to serve as a platform where collaboration drives innovation across Africa’s digital ecosystem.

“Every meaningful innovation starts with a conversation, and that’s exactly what Elevate was designed to inspire. Bringing together founders, developers, regulators, investors and technology leaders in one room creates opportunities that extend far beyond a single day. We’re excited by the ideas shared, the connections made and the collective commitment to building stronger digital infrastructure for Africa,” said the founder of Termii.

The founder added that the company’s vision extends beyond providing communication technology to creating an ecosystem where businesses can scale with confidence through trusted infrastructure.

“The future of communication in Africa depends on collaboration. As businesses continue to scale across borders, the need for trusted, reliable and intelligent infrastructure becomes even more important. Through Elevate, we’re not only showcasing what’s possible today, we’re creating the environment for the partnerships and innovations that will shape tomorrow.”

The event was supported by a network of media partners, including Crest Africa, Empire Magazine Africa, and Talented Women Network, helping extend the reach of the conversations and insights shared during the conference to a wider audience across Africa.

Now in its fifth edition, Elevate continues to strengthen its position as one of Africa’s leading technology gatherings, reflecting Termii’s commitment to advancing communication infrastructure and creating meaningful connections among the builders shaping the continent’s digital future.
