Across Africa, a new wave of women is reshaping the continent’s narrative—women who are not just breaking glass ceilings but building entirely new systems of opportunity.
Among these visionaries stands Oluwaseyi Kehinde-Peters, a strategist, systems architect, and social impact leader whose life’s work is transforming how women and youth access opportunities, gain visibility, and lead change.

Born with a deep sense of purpose and curiosity, Oluwaseyi’s early years were marked by an unrelenting drive to create solutions that outlive circumstances.
With a strong academic foundation and a relentless desire to empower others, she pursued higher education with excellence, earning an MSc (Distinction) in FinTech & Financial Markets, an MBA, and several global certifications that reflect her commitment to lifelong learning.
Before stepping into the limelight of social impact, Oluwaseyi honed her leadership and systems thinking skills in the corporate world, working across oil & gas, telecommunications, and financial services industries.
These experiences helped her master the art of building scalable systems and strategies that drive real, measurable impact.
While many might have been content with corporate success, Oluwaseyi chose purpose over position, she transitioned from executive strategy to social innovation, founding PAWEN to give African women access to visibility, leadership, and opportunity, and TechUp Africa to equip youth with in-demand digital skills.
Through these initiatives, she has impacted over 10,000 women and youth across 39 countries, with programs boasting high completion and board placement rates, reflecting her commitment to creating lasting, scalable change.
Most recently, Oluwaseyi unveiled Africa’s largest digital summit and awards, the PAWENpreneur Awards & Summit 2025, powered by Nugi Technologies.
This groundbreaking initiative is designed to advance women-led innovation and leadership across the continent by connecting entrepreneurs and corporate leaders with investors, collaborators, and visibility on a massive scale.
The PAWENpreneur Awards & Summit 2025 is a hybrid event taking place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, beginning with a Digital Summit & Exhibition at 9:00 AM WAT (Online) and culminating in a Gala Awards Dinner at 4:00 PM WAT at The Zone, Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Digital Summit will feature high-impact panel discussions, thought-provoking keynotes, and dynamic networking opportunities, allowing women in entrepreneurial, middle, and senior management roles to engage directly with investors, board members, and executive recruiters from across Africa.
Attendees will also enjoy exciting giveaways and exclusive gift opportunities throughout the day.
The Digital Exhibition will showcase women entrepreneurs and business leaders from over 39 African countries, providing a platform for businesses to reach buyers and partners across Africa, connect with investors and collaborators, and expand visibility and influence on a continental scale.
The Awards Gala, a prestigious hybrid celebration of excellence, will honor the continent’s most influential, innovative, and impactful women across industries.
The event will feature inspiring stories of leadership, resilience, and innovation, cultural performances, and curated networking moments.
The dress code for the evening is African Glam, and the gala will be live-streamed to a global audience, amplifying the visibility of women leaders across Africa.
Oluwaseyi’s influence extends far beyond Africa’s borders. She has been recognized as a 2024 Fellow of Nasdaq Milestone Makers and Estée Lauder’s Vital Voices Visionaries, fellowships celebrating innovators creating inclusive systems for change.
A published author and international keynote speaker, Oluwaseyi uses her platform to amplify the stories and struggles of African women who dare to lead.
Empowerment, to her, is not a slogan, it is access. Through the PAWENpreneur Awards & Summit 2025, she has created a digital bridge that allows women to be seen, connect, and lead change at scale.

Oluwaseyi Kehinde-Peters has proven that leadership is not about position, it’s about purpose. Her journey shows what it means to be a modern African changemaker, visionary, grounded, and fiercely committed to helping every woman and youth thrive..
She is not just advancing women’s leadership, she’s architecting a new Africa, one system, one woman, and one innovation at a time.
