With a background in sociology from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Esther’s career has been marked by a series of pioneering initiatives.
Her Walk Against Rape campaign, which began in 2011, has brought attention to the scourge of rape in Nigeria, with top celebrities like Kate Henshaw and Ali Baba lending their support.
Esther’s activism has also led to the creation of the College Acquaintance Rape Education (C.A.R.E) workshop, which has been endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Esther’s commitment to empowering women has been unwavering. Her Women of Rubies platform, founded in 2015, has evolved into a global community, celebrating the achievements of over 1,000 women. The platform operates in both Nigeria and Canada, amplifying the voices and stories of women worldwide.
As a writer, Esther has authored two books: “Breaking the Silence” (2013), which sheds light on the issue of rape, and “How to Make Affirmations Work for You” (2023), a practical guide to harnessing the power of positive thinking.
Her Media Visibility BootCamp, launched in 2023, aims to empower individuals with the skills to enhance their media presence and amplify their impact.
Esther’s contributions to society have been recognized with numerous awards and nominations, including the 2024 Social Impact Award at the Pesbods Gala Night in Toronto, Canada.
