Before entering the media industry, Peace worked in education. She studied Psychology at Middlesex University and later taught science subjects including physics, chemistry, and biology.

Recognizing the reach and influence of storytelling, she began building a career focused on journalism, content creation, and media production. This move would eventually position her at the center of some of Africa’s most visible business and entertainment media platforms.

As her career developed, Peace became associated with Forbes Africa, where she served as Head of Digital Media and Partnerships and West Africa Correspondent.

Through these roles, she contributed to editorial projects, audience engagement initiatives, and partnerships that highlighted the work of African entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and innovators.

One of her most recognized projects is My Worst Day with Peace Hyde, a Forbes Africa television series featuring conversations with business leaders about the challenges, failures, and setbacks they encountered on their paths to success.

The program became known for exploring the lessons learned through adversity rather than focusing solely on achievements.

Her work later expanded into television production on an even larger scale.

Peace Hyde is the creator and executive producer of Young, Famous & African, Netflix’s first African reality television series.

The show brought together personalities from different African countries and introduced global audiences to stories centered on entertainment, entrepreneurship, relationships, and contemporary African culture.

Alongside her media work, Peace has remained committed to education and youth development. She founded Aim Higher Africa, a non-profit organization focused on improving educational opportunities and supporting young people through training, mentorship, and skills development initiatives.

Her contributions have received recognition from a range of institutions and organizations. In 2018, she was selected as part of the inaugural Obama Foundation Africa Leaders Program, a leadership initiative designed to support emerging changemakers working across the African continent.

Over the years, she has also participated in international conferences, leadership forums, and speaking engagements focused on entrepreneurship, education, leadership, media, and social impact.

What distinguishes Peace Hyde’s career is the breadth of industries in which she has worked. From education and journalism to television production and entrepreneurship, she has consistently built projects centered on information, storytelling, and opportunity.

Today, her work continues to span media, business, education, and entertainment, reflecting a career dedicated to creating platforms that showcase African talent, leadership, innovation, and culture.

Peace Hyde is not simply a media personality. She is a journalist, producer, entrepreneur, and educator whose work has contributed to the growing visibility of African stories and African voices on global platforms.
