U.S. President Donald Trump announced a $10 billion donation to the “Board of Peace,” a newly established initiative aimed at preventing global conflicts and strengthening diplomatic efforts.
He stated that nine members of the body committed $7 billion toward a Gaza relief package, while five countries agreed to contribute troops to an international stabilization force for the Palestinian territory.

Deployment will initially focus on Rafah to prioritize reconstruction efforts. Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait are the participating donor nations.
Trump described every dollar spent as an investment in regional stability and claimed the Board of Peace demonstrates how to build a better future.
Despite the significance of the pledges, the amount represents a fraction of the estimated $70 billion required for reconstruction following two years of war.Maj. Gen. Jasper Jeffers, leader of the International Stabilization Force, indicated the plan requires 12,000 police and 20,000 soldiers to provide the security necessary for prosperity and peace. The board serves as a component of Trump’s 20-point peace plan.
Addressing criticism, Trump asserted the board would make the United Nations more viable, acting as an oversight entity to ensure proper function.
More than 40 countries and the European Union sent officials to the meeting. Germany, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom attended as observers rather than members.
