Remote4Africa Vets Every Job to Guarantee Global Remote Tech Opportunities for Africans

As Africa experiences a surge in tech skills development, Remote4Africa is stepping in to bridge the gap between the continent’s expanding digital workforce and the global remote job market.

Founded in 2023 by Paul and Andrew Eze, Remote4Africa is a dedicated platform that aggregates and vets remote job opportunities exclusively accessible to Africans.

The demand for tech talent is booming worldwide. Microsoft projects that by 2025, 149 million new jobs will be created in the technology sector.

Despite this growth, many African digital professionals remain excluded from these opportunities due to geographic restrictions on popular Western remote job sites.

Recognizing this disparity, Paul and Andrew Eze, who previously built Ngcareers — a leading Nigerian job portal acquired by Jobberman in 2020 — launched Remote4Africa to focus solely on remote roles open to candidates across Africa.

“A lot of job sites in Africa are on-site focused and many individuals would prefer having hybrid or remote jobs that give them flexibility, coupled with the fact that Africa has a growing young population of talent that may not fit into the traditional on-site working framework,” Paul Eze, Co-founder and CEO of Remote4Africa, told Techpoint Africa.

Unlike broader job platforms, Remote4Africa thoroughly vets each job listing to confirm it genuinely welcomes African applicants.

Since its launch, the platform has rapidly grown, attracting nearly 200,000 users from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa, with over 16,000 vetted job listings.

Remote4Africa ranks among the top three search results for “remote jobs in Africa,” underscoring its rising prominence as a trusted gateway to flexible work opportunities.

Remote4Africa operates by crawling and indexing job postings from various career and company websites, employing a team to ensure each position is legitimate and accessible to Africans.

Over 600 companies have posted jobs on the platform, which vets employers to maintain trust and authenticity.

The platform is bootstrapped by its founders and self-sustaining, offering free access to job seekers who can customize preferences and receive tailored job alerts via email twice weekly.

Revenue comes from a premium membership subscription, priced affordably at $2.98 monthly, $5.80 quarterly, and $13.20 annually, which grants unlimited access to all job listings and exclusive career resources.

Future features for employers are in development to expand revenue streams while maintaining a strong focus on job seekers.

Strategic partnerships play a key role in Remote4Africa’s mission to connect digital skills acquisition with employment.

The company collaborates with training organizations like AltSchool, Genesis, the Kenyan Private Sector Alliance, and CafeOne to help graduates transition from learning to earning.

While Remote4Africa offers some masterclasses on Telegram, it deliberately avoids competing with edtech platforms, instead positioning itself as a vital link between training programs and job access.

“We are partnering with AltSchool on a few things, primarily to help their graduating talents access opportunities,” Eze said.

“Instead of being that platform that does courses and jobs, we want to focus on the jobs and partner with the companies that are doing in-depth courses.”

With its clear focus, the founders’ deep experience, and a growing young tech population eager for remote work, Remote4Africa aims to reach one million users across Africa.

By ensuring job listings are specifically targeted at Africans and leveraging the continent’s expanding tech talent, Remote4Africa is poised to become a pivotal player in shaping the future of work for Africa’s digital professionals.
