Ayra Starr is opening another chapter in her musical journey with the release of Starr Girl, her third studio album and a 16-track project bringing together some of the biggest names from Nigeria and the international music scene.
Released on August 14, 2026, the album arrives two years after The Year I Turned 21 and captures the latest evolution of an artist whose music has travelled from Lagos to audiences around the world.
Starr Girl brings Ayra Starr together with Wizkid on “Gimme Dat,” while fellow Mavin star Rema joins her on “Who’s Dat Girl.” British singer Kwn appears on “Amazing,” Theodora features on “Ms. Paper,” and American singer Leon Thomas contributes to “Pressure.”

The project also gives a home to songs listeners had already encountered ahead of its arrival. “Tornado,” “Hot Body,” “Where Do We Go,” “Letter To God” and “Misunderstood” all form part of the album, connecting its rollout with the complete body of work now available to fans.
Beyond the collaborations, the album carries personal significance for Ayra Starr. Celebrating its release, the singer reflected on the different versions of herself that shaped the creative process and expressed pride in the woman she has become while making the record.
