Sudan’s aviation authority expressed surprise at the UAE’s move and said it is working with airlines to reschedule bookings for passengers traveling to and from the Gulf state.

Officials in Abu Dhabi have not yet responded to the statement from Sudan.

Tensions between the two nations have been rising.

The UAE has consistently denied these accusations.
