TechHerfrica is set to host the maiden edition of the PoliServe Dialogue on October 15, 2024, in celebration of the International Day of Rural Women.
This landmark event, themed “Enhancing Livelihoods of Rural Women through Stakeholder Collaboration,” will focus on addressing the challenges rural women face in Nigeria, from financial exclusion to digital gaps and limited business opportunities.
Organized by TechHerfrica, an organization committed to gender inclusion in technology and policy, the PoliServe Dialogue will bring together policymakers, rural women entrepreneurs, development advocates, and private sector leaders.
The goal is to foster inclusive discussions that result in tangible solutions to improve the lives of rural women. Other notable partners include EFInA, which will present data-driven solutions for financial inclusion among rural women, and GSAI, which will focus on empowering rural women through sustainable agricultural practices.
EcoSteward Humanitarian Foundation will bring discussions around climate resilience, a critical issue for communities facing environmental challenges.
Additionally, Fidelity Bank will explore innovative banking solutions that foster economic growth for rural women, and the YALI Network Abuja will tackle gender-based violence, addressing specific challenges that rural women face.
