Pop icon Britney Spears has sold the rights to her entire music catalogue to independent music publisher Primary Wave, according to legal documents.
The transaction was finalised on December 30, 2025, and is reported to be valued in a similar range to Justin Bieber’s roughly $200 million catalogue deal in 2023.
The sale covers Spears’ major hits spanning her career, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Oops!… I Did It Again,” “Toxic,” “Gimme More,” “Circus,” “Lucky,” “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Womanizer” and other defining tracks from her nine-album catalogue.
Spears, 44, has not released a full studio album since 2016’s Glory and has largely stepped back from performing, with her last live show in 2018.
The deal positions her among high-profile artists who have monetised their back catalogues.
Representatives for Spears and Primary Wave have not publicly commented on the terms of the agreement.
