Eunice Cofie-Obeng is a trailblazing entrepreneur making significant strides in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. As the President and Chief Cosmetic Chemist of Nuekie, an innovative health and beauty company catering to people of color, Eunice is driven by her passion for creating products that promote healthy skin and beauty.
Eunice’s impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry/molecular biology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati James L.
Winkle College of Pharmacy, and completion of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Global Leadership and Public Policy Executive Education program.
Her commitment to social causes has led to a positive impact globally, particularly in Ghana and the Philippines. Eunice’s accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades, including being named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012, one of the 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa by Forbes, and featured in the 2012 Tallahassee Community College Cherry Alexander African-American Calendar.
Eunice’s dedication to empowering her community is evident in her work as the former Miss Black Florida USA, where she promoted healthy lifestyles among young people.
Her contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the 2012 Golden A.C.E. Award in Science and Technology and the 2011 Florida Achievement Award.
