Madica, an investment programme dedicated to supporting pre-seed startups in Africa, has announced an $800,000 investment in four innovative African startups.
Each startup will receive $200,000 and participate in Madica’s 18-month investment programme, which provides tailored support to address the unique needs of each startup.
This comprehensive programme includes a personalised curriculum, hands-on mentorship, and executive coaching opportunities with experienced industry experts.
The selected startups are revolutionizing various industries, from healthcare to electric mobility. Medikea, a digital healthcare platform from Tanzania, combines telemedicine and in-person facilities to provide primary and specialty healthcare infrastructure.

Since its inception in 2022, Madica has provided structured support to startups, addressing critical issues and providing access to capital, investors, and mentorship.
The programme has exceeded its goal of achieving 50% gender diversity in leadership teams, having backed female-led companies across eight countries and six different sectors.
Madica’s affiliation with global fintech venture capital firm Flourish Ventures enables it to empower entrepreneurs with funding and access to world-class company support.
