Julia Lang is a beacon of creativity, courage, and inclusivity, turning every vision into a statement of beauty and purpose.
Born in Machame, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, to German missionary parents, she moved to Germany at age four, carrying with her a curiosity and drive that would shape every step of her journey.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Trade & Commerce from the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg in 2009, laying the foundation for a career defined by bold choices and fearless creativity.
After a brief marketing internship in New York, Lang built experience across Germany and London before settling in Berlin, where she founded her own marketing agency in 2012.
In 2015, she made the leap to New York on an O-1 visa, embracing the freedom to forge her own path.
Over the years, she worked with executives, athletes, and artists, including The Weeknd, Westside Gunn, and Kareem “Biggs” Burke, shaping projects that blended elegance, edge, and originality.
In 2020, Lang co-founded VEERT with Leontinus Arnolds. The brand, whose name echoes the French word for “green,” is a celebration of genderless design, minimalism, and refined luxury.
VEERT’s demi-fine and fine jewelry, crafted from sterling silver, 18K gold, pearls, onyx, and malachite, has expanded into ready-to-wear, gracing retailers like SSENSE and Selfridges, and appearing in publications including Rolling Stone and WWD.
VEERT is more than jewelry; it’s a movement. Lang envisions it as a bridge across communities and identities, a vessel of confidence, energy, and belonging.
Its creations have adorned red carpets and stages worldwide, transforming simple materials into symbols of inclusivity, elegance, and empowerment.
Julia Lang’s journey is a testament to the power of vision and authenticity.
Every piece she creates, every decision she makes, whispers a message: embrace your uniqueness, craft your own path, and never dim the light that makes you shine.
