Her career began in radio in 2003 on 5FM, where she hosted the Fanta World Chart Show and quickly drew attention for her dynamic presence and charisma.
Over the years, she worked at major South African stations including YFM, Highveld Stereo (947), Metro FM, and Kaya 959, where she became known for driving listener engagement and breaking barriers, notably becoming YFM’s first female afternoon drive time DJ with her hugely popular Dineo Live on Drive show.
Dineo’s talents also flourished on television. She co‑hosted e.tv’s youth music and lifestyle program Club 808 and appeared in beloved local series such as Scandal, Gaz’lam, Real Goboza, Yim’lo, Gomora, All Access Mzansi, and Ishushu.
