De9jaspirit Talent Hunt (DTH), Nigeria’s leading talent discovery TV show, is breaking new ground with its first-ever Campus Audition Tour, scheduled for July 2025.
For the first time, DTH will bring live auditions directly to universities across the country, giving students and young creatives a direct path to stardom right on their own campuses.
The DTH Campus Audition Tour is more than just an event—it’s a nationwide movement designed to celebrate and elevate raw, untapped talent within Nigeria’s top academic institutions. The tour will stop at five major campuses:
- University of Port Harcourt – July 9 (Ebitimi Banigo Hall)
- University of Abuja – July 11 (Management Science Auditorium)
- University of Benin – July 14 (Akin Deko Main Auditorium)
- University of Lagos – July 16 (Indoor Sports Hall)
- IMT Enugu – July 18 (IMT International Conference Centre)
Auditions in each school will begin at 12 PM for all registered contestants.
DTH has built a reputation for spotlighting unique talents and changing lives. Past seasons have witnessed the rise of incredible performers who went on to achieve national fame and unlock valuable opportunities.
The show’s organizers believe this campus tour will give even more students the chance to experience the thrill of a professional audition and connect directly with the DTH community and its influential judges.
According to Charles Simeon, Producer at DTH:
“We’re going directly to where the talent lives—Nigerian campuses. This tour is about discovering stars where they are. The next big name in African entertainment might just emerge from your campus!”
Aspiring participants only need to download the DTH app on Android or iOS, register for free, select their preferred audition campus, and show up ready to perform.
DTH welcomes all creative acts, including singers, dancers, rappers, comedians, spoken word artists, and anyone with a unique talent.
Charles Simeon adds:
“We want every talented student in Nigeria to feel seen and heard. For many, this will be their first chance to step onto a real stage and start building their dreams. We’re committed to making the process simple, fast, and open to everyone.”
The tour is expected to energize campus communities, with students, faculty, and alumni all eager to witness the discovery of fresh talent.
Participants will audition live before DTH’s panel of expert judges, receive real-time feedback, and gain access to the broader DTH network—which includes TV, radio, sponsors, and future growth opportunities.
The top talents will also compete for over ₦40 million in prizes, brand exposure, mentorship, and the chance to launch their careers through one of Africa’s biggest entertainment platforms.
