The next billion digital interactions will not be powered by ambition alone, they will depend on resilient infrastructure, trusted networks and technologies built to operate at scale.
Recognising this shift, TERMII is set to host the fifth edition of Elevate, a conference that has grown into a leading platform for conversations around innovation, growth and the future of Africa’s digital economy.
Scheduled for July 11, 2026, at The Zone Tech Park in Lagos, this year’s event carries the theme, The Global Link: Powering the Next Billion Conversations.
Now in its fifth year, TERMII Elevate has evolved into a significant meeting point for founders, investors, product leaders, operators, regulators and technology executives helping shape Africa’s rapidly expanding digital ecosystem.
This year’s edition will examine the critical systems enabling businesses to grow beyond local markets, with discussions centred on communication infrastructure, payments, digital identity, trust, compliance and artificial intelligence, all of which are increasingly becoming essential components of cross-border expansion and long-term digital growth.
Bringing Together Leaders Driving Africa’s Tech Ecosystem
The conference will feature a distinguished lineup of industry voices, including:
• Kola Aina, Founding Partner, Ventures Platform
• Joshua Chibueze, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer, PiggyVest
• Seun Alley, Founder and CEO, Fez Delivery
• Douglas Kendyson, Founder and CEO, Selar
• David Adeleke, Co-founder and CEO, Zeeh Africa
• Esigie Aguele, Co-founder and CEO, VerifyMe

Alongside other ecosystem stakeholders, the speakers will share perspectives on the realities of building and scaling technology businesses across multiple markets. Discussions are expected to explore communication infrastructure, digital identity systems, payments, artificial intelligence adoption, cross-border operations and the importance of building reliable frameworks capable of supporting long-term growth.
What Attendees Can Expect at Elevate 5.0
This year’s conference will deliver three major experiences designed to foster learning, collaboration and innovation.
Main Stage Conversations
Founders, investors, operators, policymakers and industry experts will engage in discussions around the practical challenges and opportunities associated with developing and expanding technology businesses across Africa.
Elevate Pitch 5.0
The startup showcase will provide emerging founders with an opportunity to present their businesses before investors and ecosystem leaders, gaining visibility, industry feedback and potential growth opportunities.
Exhibition Floor
Technology companies will have access to a dedicated exhibition space where they can showcase products, engage directly with attendees and connect with prospective customers, investors, partners and decision-makers.
Speaking ahead of the event, Gbolade Emmanuel, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of TERMII, highlighted the evolving nature of business expansion across markets.
“As businesses expand across markets, the conversations around scale are becoming more complex. Beyond growth, founders now have to think about reliability, trust, compliance and the systems that support them.”
“Termii Elevate 5.0 is about bringing together the people building those systems, the operators, founders, investors and decision-makers shaping the next phase of Africa’s digital economy,” he said.
