“The company is in communication with Zimbabwean authorities over a new export application,” Sinomine said while responding to investor questions on a platform linked to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, according to Reuters.

Zimbabwe imposed a ban in late February on exports of all raw minerals and lithium concentrates, citing malpractice in the sector and stating its intention to encourage “in-country value addition.”
Sinomine said the restriction has had limited impact on its Bikita Mine operations, indicating the company continues to monitor developments while seeking approval to restart exports.
