Exxon Mobil announced on Thursday that it has lifted force majeure on its large Rovuma liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Mozambique, according to Reuters but first reported by Bloomberg.
Work on the project had been paused in 2021 after French oil major TotalEnergies declared force majeure on its separate LNG project in the country due to security concerns. The two projects share some facilities.
