Eko Atlantic is a 10 million square metre mixed-use city constructed on reclaimed land adjacent to the Lagos coast.The project was designed by South Energy Nigeria Limited, a project of the Chagoury Group and started in 2008.
The project, which is expected to be fully completed in about 2035, is intended to accommodate more than 250,000 residents, making it one of the most ambitious master-planned city projects privately funded in Africa.
1. Azuri Towers Located in the Marina District, this development consists of two residential towers (Azuri One and Azuri Two) and one office tower. Azuri One stands at 145 meters, making it one of the tallest residential structures in West Africa. It features four-bedroom apartments, six-bedroom penthouses, and “smart” home integration.
2. Eko Pearl Towers A flagship five-tower residential complex: Black Pearl, Champagne Pearl, White Pearl, Indigo Pearl, and Aqua Pearl. The Black and Champagne towers are completed. The development offers two- and three-bedroom apartments and terrace penthouses with amenities including a private health club, tennis courts, and an Olympic-size swimming pool.
3. A&A Towers A 23-floor mixed-use high-rise by Arkland Properties. It provides two- and three-bedroom apartments alongside dual-level penthouses. The structure is characterized by projecting edges for stability and aesthetic distinction, targeting a “live-work-play” lifestyle with integrated retail and office spaces.
4. Phoenix Tower A 27-level residential tower situated on 3,442 square meters in the downtown district. It primarily offers three-bedroom apartments and penthouse villas. The development includes a raised podium with a spa, sauna, gym, and a dedicated children’s play area.
5. Pan-Atlantic Towers An ultra-luxury 15-floor residential project. It comprises 40 units of three-bedroom condominiums and two units of five-bedroom penthouses. Features include smart home options, an infinity pool, a private cinema, and a mini-golf course.
6. The Hives Tower A contemporary residential development offering two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses. It emphasizes wellness and leisure with on-site facilities such as a spa, sky lounges, and dedicated fitness centers.
7. Eko Energy Estate A massive 45-hectare residential development in the northwestern corner of the city. The first phase includes three 21-floor towers with 260 flexible apartments. It is designed to be self-sufficient, featuring its own power plant, underground parking, and a dedicated sports and leisure center.
