Pioneering Change in Africa’s Housing and Food Security – Adetola Nola

Adetola Nola, a dynamic entrepreneur and CEO of Veritasi Homes & Properties and A.R.N Farms, has emerged as a trailblazer in real estate, agriculture, and youth empowerment across Africa.

With an impressive portfolio that includes a N30 billion CP Programme revolutionizing Nigeria’s housing market and a commitment to food security through A.R.N Farms and Commodities Limited, Nola is redefining success for African entrepreneurs.

In this exclusive article, Nola sheds light on his entrepreneurial journey, the vision behind his groundbreaking initiatives, and his dedication to nurturing young talent.

CA: Real estate is a cornerstone of your success. What inspired you to pursue this path, and what has been your most significant milestone?

Nola: I’ve always believed that housing is more than just a structure—it’s about building communities that people can thrive in. That belief pushed me into real estate.

The most significant milestone for me was registering a N30 billion CP Programme on FMDQ. It wasn’t just about the numbers; it represented trust and a shared vision with my clients and stakeholders. It was a moment that reinforced the impact of what we’re building at Veritasi Homes.

CA: Housing and food security are critical challenges across Africa. How are you addressing these through your ventures?

Nola: Both housing and food security are at the core of what I do because they directly impact the quality of life. Through Veritasi Homes, I’m addressing housing challenges by creating sustainable, world-class homes for Nigerians.

On the food security side, A.R.N Farms and Commodities Limited is a key part of my strategy. We’re building one of the largest rice milling plants in West Africa in partnership with AGI Millet. Our goal is to enhance local production and reduce reliance on imports.

CA: You’ve also made a strong impact on entrepreneurship with the Adetola Business Incubator. What motivated you to start this initiative?

Nola: When I started my journey, mentorship and support were critical to my success. I wanted to create a platform that offers young entrepreneurs the same opportunities I had—and more.

The Adetola Business Incubator supports startups with funding, mentorship, and a community to thrive in. It’s about building the next generation of African leaders who can drive innovation and economic growth.

CA: Your educational background spans institutions like Harvard Business School and Lagos Business School. How has this shaped your approach as a leader?

Nola: My education has been a mix of strategy, innovation, and global perspective. Studying at these institutions allowed me to see problems differently and explore solutions that go beyond conventional methods. It’s helped me become more adaptable and proactive in addressing challenges, whether in real estate or agriculture.

CA: As someone frequently featured on global stages, what do you hope to achieve with these platforms?

Nola: I use those platforms to share Africa’s story from a perspective of potential and progress. It’s important to me that we shift the narrative and showcase the innovation happening here. Collaboration is key, and I aim to inspire others to join in addressing the challenges we face while maximizing the opportunities ahead.

CA: What’s next for you as you continue reshaping Africa’s housing and food industries?

Nola: The journey has only begun. My vision is to make sustainable housing and food security a reality for every African. I’m committed to scaling these initiatives and ensuring they create lasting impact—not just for today, but for generations to come.

Adetola Nola’s work exemplifies the power of vision and dedication in solving Africa’s pressing challenges. As a leader, innovator, and mentor, he continues to set new benchmarks for success while inspiring a brighter future for the continent.
