His belief that technology should solve practical problems did not emerge overnight. It began in 2007 after completing secondary school while waiting to begin university. Rather than spending the period idle, his mother encouraged him to learn web design, introducing him to Adobe Dreamweaver, one of the leading web development tools at the time.
That experience marked his first encounter with coding and digital technology, igniting a passion that would shape his professional journey.
As his interest grew, so did his ambition to understand technology beyond the basics. Studying at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India exposed him to an international technology ecosystem and broadened his perspective on what was possible.
Beyond the academic experience, he observed how multinational technology companies operated and witnessed the aspirations of students preparing for careers with some of the world’s leading technology organisations.
Reflecting on that period, he believes it fundamentally changed the way he approached innovation and problem-solving.
“It shaped my approach to what can be done through technology, what was possible and what I could achieve through technology,” he said. “It exposed me to what multinational companies are doing and expanded my thinking about the kind of solutions I could build.”
Returning to Nigeria provided another opportunity to translate that knowledge into practical impact. As an IT Specialist at Pennek Nigeria, he gained first-hand experience of how businesses rely on technology to strengthen operations and improve customer experiences.
Working within the real estate sector also revealed gaps that technology could address, particularly in customer communication and operational efficiency.
Seeing sales teams struggle to maintain timely communication with prospective clients reinforced his conviction that digital solutions should solve business problems rather than simply automate existing processes. Those experiences planted ideas that would later influence the products and services he would build.
That vision eventually led to the establishment of Dok Tech Solutions.
For Oladokun, the company represents far more than a technology business. It reflects a philosophy centred on identifying challenges and developing practical digital solutions that create measurable value for individuals and organisations.
“I’m all about providing solutions to people’s problems,” he said. “I don’t like to complain about things. I like to think about what can be done to solve a problem. That is why I created Dok Tech Solutions.”
Driven by that vision, he hopes to grow the company into a globally recognised technology brand developing digital products that address everyday business challenges while contributing to innovation across industries.
His willingness to evolve has also defined his professional journey.
After spending more than seven years designing and developing websites, Oladokun recognised another area where he could make a greater contribution.
He transitioned into software quality assurance, developing specialised expertise in testing digital products to ensure they are reliable, secure and ready for users before deployment.
The shift transformed the way he viewed software development.
Quality assurance gave him a deeper appreciation for the importance of product reliability and the risks organisations face when applications are released without adequate testing.
It also strengthened his understanding that successful digital products are not measured solely by their features, but by how consistently and securely they perform for the people who depend on them.
Today, artificial intelligence represents the next phase of that evolution.
He is currently developing an AI-powered automation solution designed to help businesses simplify repetitive processes, improve operational efficiency and make better use of their time. The idea emerged from years of working with organisations across different sectors and observing recurring operational challenges that technology could solve more effectively.
“I have worked in different organisations and also patronised different establishments,” he explained. “I have seen their limitations and the problems they face now and may face in the future. That is where the idea for this solution came from.”
While artificial intelligence is often discussed in terms of replacing jobs, Oladokun believes its greatest strength lies in empowering people to accomplish more.
