Interviewer: Congratulations on reaching the 5-year milestone! Could you share the story behind Renee Consulting and what inspired its founding?
Akumah Nkeonye: Thank you so much! It’s been a beautiful journey divinely orchestrated and fully led through God’s grace. So to your question; Renee Consulting was born out of a passion to provide expert-tailored advisory services that genuinely transform the educational and career paths of our esteemed clients who want to study abroad.
I noticed a gap in how traditional educational consulting firms approached some of these challenges, and I wanted to build a company that was agile, client-centric, and forward-thinking. Our mission remains to provide our esteemed clients with consultation services; aligning with their educational aspirations and career goals through innovative solutions that not only solve immediate challenges but also lay a solid foundation for long-lasting relationships.
Interviewer: What do you consider to be the key factors that contributed to Renee Consulting’s success?
Akumah Nkeonye: Over the years, our success can be attributed to our unwavering commitment to personalized service, our deep understanding of international education systems, and our ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
Additionally, our focus on building strong relationships with both students and partner institutions has been crucial. Ultimately, the team’s expertise and passion for helping students navigate the complexities of studying abroad have been significantly instrumental in our growth.
Interviewer: What core values have guided Renee Consulting through its formative years?
Akumah Nkeonye: In a rapidly evolving market, our commitment to innovative solutions keeps us ahead of the curve. Very importantly, our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We measure our success by their success.
We also understand that trust is key and over the years we have built lasting partnerships through open, honest communication and consistent delivery.
Interviewer: What are some of the key milestones Renee Consulting has achieved in its first five years?
Akumah Nkeonye: I would like to answer this question by highlighting these milestones across the years.
Between year 1 and year 3, it is important to highlight that we have significantly grown from a small, dedicated team to a dynamic force that has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them navigate complex challenges and successfully placing them across partner universities in the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the European regions.
This continuous growth remains a key milestone for the company over the past years. Also, the recognition of our work through notable accrediting partners and thought leadership forums, establishes our authority in the educational consulting space.
From year 3 till now, we have leveraged the integration of advanced tools and platforms through partnerships to deliver cutting-edge solutions to clients by connecting them with over 200 more universities across the world.
There is also an ongoing partnership with Treepz Global a mobile hailing transportation app that offers seamless commutes as added value services for our clients when leaving for their study destinations after they have completed the entire consulting journey with us.
In addition, we have implemented CSR Initiatives by engaging in projects that contribute positively to society and the environment through education and we hope to do even more in the next 5 years.
Interviewer: How has your leadership style contributed to the company’s success, and what do you attribute your team’s cohesive culture to?
Akumah Nkeonye: I firmly believe in empowering my team by giving them the freedom to innovate and take ownership of their projects. This not only fosters creativity but also drives results.
We are also intentional with investing in our people, encouraging professional development, and creating an environment where continuous improvement is the norm.

Also being a relatively young company, our operations have been modeled around flexibility and innovative thinking, allowing us to respond quickly to market dynamics.

Akumah Nkeonye: Since our inception, we have continued to expand our service offerings to include comprehensive advisory services, from career guidance to university selection and school application assistance to comprehensive visa support and pre-departure sessions.
We have also embraced digital transformation, implementing advanced CRM systems to better manage our relationship with our esteemed clients and to streamline our processes. Our growth has been both in the scope of the services that we offer and the geographic reach of our operations.
Interviewer: With technology playing a significant role in education today, how is Renee Consulting integrating tech into its services?
Akumah Nkeonye: It is interesting how you have asked this question at this time and this is because technology is at the heart of our future plans. We are leveraging strongly on the use of data analytics to better understand clients to include prospective students and already recruited student’s needs and preferences, allowing us to provide more customized and effective guidance through technology.
At the moment, we are currently working on developing an application that will leverage cutting-edge technology to offer unparalleled migration integration solutions, ensuring users enjoy a seamless and intuitive experience unlike anything currently available in the market.
We anticipate unveiling more details and a public release in the coming months, positioning Renee Consulting at the forefront of industry innovation.
