P-Square’s music catalogue is enjoying renewed attention on Apple Music Nigeria, with several of the celebrated duo’s albums returning to the chart as listeners revisit songs that defined an important era in African pop music.
According to a report by Vanguard, citing music chart platform Album Talks HQ, Best of P-Square climbed 87 places to reach number 100 on the Nigeria Apple Music Albums Chart, signalling fresh interest in the group’s extensive catalogue.
Two other P-Square projects have also returned to the chart. Get Squared re-entered at number 173, while Game Over returned at number 182.
The renewed interest comes at a time when Peter and Paul Okoye have faced fresh challenges in their relationship, with recent public exchanges between the brothers attracting attention from fans and across social media. While the developments have brought their differences back into public conversation, they have also coincided with listeners returning to the music the pair created together during P-Square’s successful run.

P-Square emerged as a major force in Nigerian music in the early 2000s, building a catalogue that travelled far beyond the country and earned the duo audiences across Africa. Songs including “Bizzy Body,” “Do Me,” “Game Over” and “Alingo” became defining records at different stages of their career.
Their combination of energetic performances, memorable choreography and accessible pop sound contributed to their widespread appeal, establishing Peter and Paul as two of the most recognisable figures in African entertainment.
The brothers initially went their separate ways in 2017 following disagreements involving finances, creative control and the management of the group. They reunited in November 2021 before another period of differences emerged and the pair returned to pursuing their individual careers in 2024.
Peter has continued his solo career as Mr P, while Paul performs as Rudeboy, allowing both artists to maintain their individual presence in the Nigerian music industry.
Despite the challenges that have affected their relationship, the latest movement on Apple Music highlights the enduring connection audiences have with the body of work they created together.
Years after many of their biggest records were released, P-Square’s return to the charts offers another reminder of the duo’s lasting contribution to African pop music and the place their songs continue to occupy in the memories of listeners across generations.
