Ronaldinho Taps Odumodublvck, Gyakie, Skales and Others for Global Debut Album ‘Camisa 10’

Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho has stepped into the music spotlight with the release of Camisa 10, an ambitious debut album that brings together artists from across the globe, including a strong African contingent led by Odumodublvck, Shoday, Skales, Mavo, and Ghanaian singer Gyakie.

NET reports that project, released ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marks Ronaldinho’s first major venture into the music industry and arrives through his newly established record label, Tu Música.

Named after the famous No. 10 jersey that defined his legendary football career, Camisa 10 celebrates the cultural connection between sport and music through a diverse collection of sounds and collaborations.

Spanning two volumes, the album features 44 artists representing 18 countries, creating a multicultural blend of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggaeton, Latin pop, regional Mexican music, and contemporary urban sounds. The project reflects Ronaldinho’s global appeal and his desire to unite audiences through creative expression beyond football.

Leading the album is “Lead,” a collaboration featuring Jamaican dancehall heavyweight Sean Paul and Canadian production duo Banx & Ranx. Other notable contributors include Pitbull, Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavarez, Luis R. Conriquez, Dalex, Jon Z, Jonas Blue, Fariana, Micro TDH, Yng Lvcas, Nanpa Básico and Lenin Ramírez.

African artists play a prominent role throughout the project, underscoring the continent’s growing influence on the international music scene.

The inclusion of Nigerian stars Odumodublvck, Shoday, Skales and Mavo alongside Gyakie adds another high-profile moment for African music on a global platform, particularly at a time when Afrobeats continues to expand its international reach.

According to Tu Música, the album was developed by music executives Allan Jesus and Roni Maltz Bin in partnership with Roberto de Assis, Ronaldinho’s brother and longtime manager. The release also serves as a major introduction to the Miami-based label’s vision of fostering international collaborations between artists from different cultures and backgrounds.

Speaking about the project, Sean Paul described the opportunity as a special moment, praising Ronaldinho’s influence both within and beyond football.

The album arrives as anticipation builds for the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. With football once again taking centre stage globally, Camisa 10 seeks to capture the energy, diversity and excitement surrounding the tournament through music.

While several athletes have explored music careers over the years, few have launched projects of this scale.

By bringing together talents from Latin America, Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean, Ronaldinho’s debut album positions itself as a celebration of global culture and a testament to the enduring power of football to connect people across borders.
