Tinubu Arrives Lagos to Commission Six Key Infrastructure Projects

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos for a two-day working visit during which he is scheduled to inaugurate six major infrastructure projects delivered by the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The visit, confirmed by state officials, is part of ongoing efforts to showcase and commission strategic developments aimed at improving transportation, governance efficiency, education, and food logistics across the state.

Among the projects slated for inauguration is the Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge, designed to ease traffic congestion and provide alternative routes across key corridors in Lagos.

Other projects include the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building, expected to enhance land administration through improved digital systems, and a newly constructed Multi-Agency Complex to centralize government operations.

In the education sector, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle will also be commissioned, featuring upgraded classrooms, ICT laboratories, and sports facilities to improve learning conditions.

Additionally, the Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle equipped with multiple mini football pitches will be unveiled to support grassroots sports development, while the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo is expected to strengthen agricultural trade through modern storage and distribution systems.

Officials describe the projects as “transformative and legacy initiatives” targeting critical infrastructure gaps and economic growth in Lagos.
