VNL Capital Asset Management has appointed Dr. Chiedu Ojemaye as Executive Director, strengthening the firm’s leadership as it expands its footprint within Nigeria’s investment and asset management sector.
Nairametrics Ojemaye brings more than 18 years of experience across banking, financial strategy, and capital markets. His professional background spans corporate banking, capital management, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financial planning.
Before joining VNL Capital Asset Management in the new role, he served as Head of Treasury at CHI Limited. In that position, he oversaw the company’s financial strategy, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
His responsibilities included supporting funding structures, managing foreign exchange exposure, and optimizing capital deployment across the organization.
