One African Woman Advocating for Agribusiness and Humanitarian Impact – Dr. Emem Alban

Dr. Emem Alban is a celebrated entrepreneur and agronomist, leading as the CEO of Emani Farms Giant Ltd. She is also the founder of Smooches House of Gold Ventures, a logistics company, and the visionary behind the End Hunger Humanitarian Initiative, an NGO tackling hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity in underserved communities.

Dr. Alban earned a Bachelor of Science in Brewing Science and Technology from the University of Uyo, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Crop and Soil Science from the University of Port Harcourt.

She is a graduate of the Global Business Leadership Development Program at Rome Business School, Italy, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Crop Science at the University of Uyo.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to business and leadership, she was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by the Institute of Leadership, Labour, Manpower, and Management Development.
