Rawya Mansour is an entrepreneur, founder, and sustainability advocate whose work is defined by vision, purpose, and long-term impact.
With a career shaped by curiosity, courage, and commitment, she has built and led organizations that seamlessly connect commerce with social responsibility across Egypt and the global stage.
Rawya studied Commerce and Law at Cairo University, laying a strong intellectual foundation for a multidisciplinary career.
Guided by creativity and an eye for detail, she began her professional journey in interior design, and in 1999, founded RAMSCO for Refined Architecture and Interior Design, her first bold step into entrepreneurship and independent leadership.
In 2007, driven by a growing ambition to build scalable businesses, she founded RAMSCO Trade and Distribution in Egypt, where she serves as Founder and Chairwoman.
Her vision continued to expand beyond traditional business models. In 2009, she established RAMSCO for Sustainable Agricultural Development, reflecting a deepening commitment to sustainability, rural development, and inclusive economic growth.
Her work gained an international dimension in 2012 with the creation of Organic Agriculture for Social International Solidarity (OASIS) in the Principality of Monaco.
Through OASIS, Rawya has championed initiatives focused on sustainable agriculture, poverty reduction, and social inclusion, proving that ethical enterprise and global development can move forward hand in hand.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Rawya plays an active role in influential policy and development circles.
She is an honorary member of the Egyptian National Women’s Committee for Foreign Affairs, a member of the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation, a member of UNDP’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), and a member of The Earth Institute at Columbia University.
These affiliations reflect her respected voice in shaping meaningful conversations around sustainability, development, and economic resilience.
Her impact has earned well-deserved recognition. In 2017, Rawya was honored as an Excellent Business Leader by the International Federation of Business and Professional Women.
In 2019, she received an award from the Ministry of Culture in Cairo for her contributions to agricultural sustainability, empowerment initiatives, and the fight against poverty, milestones that echo the real-world change behind her work.
